SEPRI’s EMC laboratory performs tests and trials of all of its electrical and electronic devices, in accordance with European Directive 2014/30/EU and 2006/95/EC.

More specifically:

  • Directive 2014/30/EU about Electromagnetic Compatibility ensures that electrical and electronic equipment does not generate, or is not affected by, electromagnetic disturbance;

  • Directive 2006/95/EC establishes the voltage limits within which the electrical material must be used and the relevant flammability classes in order to ensure maximum safety during use.

TESTS CARRIED OUT IN SEPRI’S EMC LAB

Our in-house specialist staff carries out EMC tests to help our customers perform an Electromagnetic compatibility assessment of their devices.

At SEPRI EMC laboratory we carry out:

  • EMC immunity tests;
  • EMC emissions;

  • ESD tests;

  • harmonics, flickers and radiated emissions performed in shielded rooms.

All Pre-Compliance tests are carried out both on individual circuit boards and on complete systems.
We also issue test reports that our customers can use in other laboratories to obtain Certifications and specific Approvals.
